Enrique Dios, SEK-Atlántico student, awarded the Felipe Segovia Prize to Best SEK Student 2017

The Felipe Segovia Foundation has once again this year awarded its Felipe Segovia Prize to Best SEK Student. The fourth annual scholarship has been granted to Enrique Dios, from SEK International School Atlántico.

The aim of this scholarship is to support a 4th year Secondary School SEK student with high-level academic and personal achievements to go on to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at an authorised SEK school.

Enrique has studied at SEK-Atlántico since he was five years old, and has an excellent academic record among the very best in his year.

With an average of distinctions in his academic record, on a personal level Enrique is persistent, intellectually curious, responsible and willing to help others.

This latter personal trait can be seen in the various school projects by Enrique, that have received accolades by experts, such as: Diseño y fabricación de un bastón para invidentes and Mano Robótica.

Furthermore, Enrique has collaborated and participated in different debate, robotics and community aid activities. He has been selected for the past three years to take part in the ESTALMAT Project, run by the Universidad Santiago de Compostela Maths Department, and has obtained the following Cambridge Advanced qualifications: English (CAE) y Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF), Niveau B1.
